Practice areas include: Analytics, Intelligence, & Data Technology (AIDT), Client Platforms, Core Technology Services (CTS), Financial Advisor Platforms, Global Banking Technology (GBT), Investment Solutions Technology (IST), Institutional Wealth and Corporate Solutions Technology (IWCST), Technology Delivery Management (TDM), User Experience (UX), and the CAO team. WM TechnologyMorgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology is the global technology department responsible for the design, development, delivery and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) business. The department is comprised of 10 organizations: Sales, Banking & Corporate-Client Technology, Investment Products & Markets Technology, Client Reporting, Core Processing, Private and International Wealth Management Technology, Technology Integration Office, Enterprise Infrastructure & Production Management, Capital Markets Application & Data Services, Deployment Planning & Release Management, and the Chief Operating Office.Software EngineeringThe position is part of the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, AIDT group. There is a multi-year Platform Transformation Initiative, for which we are hiring resources that are going to help us to build applications which offer lot of new capabilities to our end users. These applications are built using new design, latest web standards with modern technologies and we need resources to support current platform for BAU activities and at the same to build the new platform. We are also expanding to offer some of the core capabilities in our mobile platform as well. We are putting lot of investment in architecture, design and some of the best practices in coding to ensure we deliver high quality products and want to make sure we retain the knowledge and experience. As we are investing a lot to build our future platform, it is important to invest on our resources that will have knowledgebase and experience.What you'll do in the role:We are seeking a Salesforce Developer with a minimum of 4-9 years of work experience in designing, developing, testing and deployment of CRM solutions on the salesforce platform. The developer will work with the distributed team and will be responsible for designing and implementing end to end solutions and integrate with the in-house platform and infrastructure. We are looking for a passionate hands-on programmer who is willing ot spend most of the time in code and delivering quality code by working closely with development leads and architecture teams in understanding and designing the solution. The candidate should be able to work collaboratively in a global setting and should be a go to person for troubleshooting any issues that may arise. Primary Skills / Must have * 4-9 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer * Hands on experience and in-depth knowledge in LWC, AURA, Apex and Visualforce development. * Designing solutions with out of the box features, custom configuration and code on the Salesforce platform. * Experience in DEVOPS process using tools like FLOSUM, Jenkins or any CI/CD based tooling. * Familiar in using SFDC metadata API using ANT migration too. * Hands on experience in integrations using REST and SOAP, Workbench * Knowledge of OOP concepts and application * Good knowledge HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and JQuery * Write clean, scalable code using Salesforce programming languages * Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, and attention to detail. * BE/ME/BSC/MSC in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field * Ability to prioritize, be flexible and handle multiple projects with varying deadlines in a multi-task environment.What you'll bring to the role:* Participate in requirements analysis * Experience in Wealth Management or a similar Financial environment * Experience in working with Data teams to load and export large volume of data to and from Salesforce. * Knowledge of Salesforce suite of products for integrations with other applications. * Familiarity with Agile Methodology, Test-Driven Development and software design patterns. * Test and deploy applications and systems with various teams * Revise, update, refactor and debug code to improve existing software * Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle * Willing to take up challenges and learn new technologiesWhat you can expect from Morgan StanleyWe are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 85 years.
