Real Estate Valuation Analysis - Credit Risk (Risk Management) : Job Level - Associate

  • Administer the collateral loan appraisal review process and in consultation with the Team Lead opine on the reliability of the appraisal by ensuring assumptions are supported and reasonable; - Ensure compliance of the collateral loan appraisal with Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), FIRREA, and internal policies; - Determine if market values have become challenged and make recommendations to the Global Head of Credit for FSL regarding updating valuations for underlying properties; - Develop processes and procedures to create efficiencies and improvements to monitor market activity; - Manage vendor relationships as a part of the review process. - Develop forms and tools to streamline processes and create efficiencies in managing appraisal review process for complete underwriting review - Assists with the review of internal procedures and makes recommendations to the Team Lead. - 3-5+ years of real estate valuation experience in at least one of the following: commercial real estate, data centers or residential real estate - Experience with valuations and markets in the US - Ability to build internal valuation and due diligence tools - State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser license required - Experience/knowledge of Western European and Asian (specifically Australia) markets is beneficial but not required Our values - putting clients first, doing the right thing, leading with exceptional ideas, committing to diversity and inclusion, and giving back - aren't just beliefs, they guide the decisions we make every day to do what's best for our clients, communities and more than 80,000 employees in 1,200 offices across 42 countries. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $140,000 year at the commencement of employment.
