Part of MSIM, the Morgan Stanley Private Credit and Equity (PC&E) platform consists of a range of private equity and private credit strategies collectively managing approx. $55 billion of AUM.We are looking to hire a Portfolio Operations and Investor Coverage Support [Analyst/Associate] to work with the COO of several of the platform's strategies as the business continues to scale. Initially, strategy focus will include: Morgan Stanley Energy Partners (MSEP), which makes private control investments in energy companies located in North America; Morgan Stanley Next Level (MSNL), an impact-focused private equity business that makes venture capital investments in early-stage technology and technology-enabled companies; PC&E's Insurance Dedicated Fund (IDF) sub advisory business, and; a fund of one strategic partnership investing across the PC&E platform. Strategy coverage may increase over time, and it is expected that this role will assist on certain platform wide projects. The candidate should be an independent, self-motivated individual with a willingness to learn and the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.Principal Responsibilities Include:- Regular and ad-hoc client reporting responsibilities including quarterly summary level and full fund investor documents. This will require coordination with multiple stakeholders including the investment teams, fund administrators, internal governance, legal functions as well as the investor servicing team.- Coordination of regular and ad-hoc investor calls and meetings.- Produce and maintain strategy marketing materials. When fundraising, support development and ongoing update of all fund documents which may include pitchbooks, offering documents, partnership agreements, etc. You will work closely with the various Firm distribution channels to ensure maintenance of all private placement rules and regulations.- Respond and complete investor or prospective investor diligence requests or requests for information. - Effectively communicate fund strategies and respond to other day-to-day investor inquiries.- Support the investment teams in all day-to-day operational duties.- Maintain strong working relationships with external fund support including legal counsel, fund administrators, subscription facility lenders and other vendors as needed.- Maintain proper governance of fund investment and valuation committees.- Assist in fund Annual General Meeting planning or other large format conference sessions.
