Market Risk Data Steward - Reporting Data Governance Specialist

Participate in setting and executing data standards, data architecture, data processes and requirements for the Market Risk Department and the Risk Management Division Participate in various data-related strategic programs targeting report migration to a new data management platform and internal data policy implementation across the Firm (e.g. Risk Data Catalog, Risk Data Aggregation, Data Lineage, etc.) Deliver high quality management information to support senior stakeholders across the Firm in discussions and in the decision-making process for data-related projects Support firmwide data strategy efforts and represent the interest of the Market Risk Department University or College degree in any data related field, statistics or business management Basic understanding of financial markets, risk management concepts and models and financial products Ability to work independently, proactively and taking ownership Strong project and stakeholder management skills Strong strategic and critical thinking Strong risk and control mindset Attention to detail and prioritization skills will be key in balancing daily deadlines with timely implementation of strategic projects Proficient in written and verbal communication (in English) Basic familiarity with handling and analyzing large datasets is favorable on at least one platform such as Excel, MatLab, R, Python, VBA or SQL Good understanding of Agile Principles Experience in UAT and in product development support Our values - putting clients first, doing the right thing, leading with exceptional ideas, committing to diversity and inclusion, and giving back - aren't just beliefs, they guide the decisions we make every day to do what's best for our clients, communities and more than 80,000 employees in 1,200 offices across 42 countries.
