Linux System Administrator

- Manage the usual core infrastructure parts such as DHCP, DNS, NTP and a self-maintained global software distribution system and its filesystem backend. - Manage the physical system firmware and remotely troubleshoot hardware. - Work with various customers in a number of different business units during outage scenarios and assist in scaling their plant. - Experience of supporting, managing and debugging large scale production environments - Understanding of the virtualization and microservices and physical infrastructures - In depth experience Linux System administration, preferably Red Hat Linux - Knowledge of clustering technologies preferably Veritas Cluster Server or any other similar with high availability product conception - Ability to read and write code on any Unix shell environment, Perl and/or Python - Knowledge of TCP/IP, experience with host level networking and security concepts, implementation, and troubleshooting - Ability to debug complex problems - Experience with Change Management and Problem management practices - Effective oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work well in a global team environment - Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and high pressure situations for outage handling, management or resolution - Understanding of SANs and NAS Storage Devices - Knowledge of Veritas Cluster Server or similar high availability product - Veritas Volume Manager - VMWare - An understanding of Problem and Change Management Practices Our values - putting clients first, doing the right thing, leading with exceptional ideas, committing to diversity and inclusion, and giving back - aren't just beliefs, they guide the decisions we make every day to do what's best for our clients, communities and more than 80,000 employees in 1,200 offices across 42 countries.
