Profile DescriptionWe're seeking someone to join our team as (Lead Data and Analytics Engineer)Strong expereinece needed to collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement technology solutions for Sustainability / ESG and Fixed Income businesses.Investment_ManagementIn the Investment Management division, we deliver active investment strategies across public and private markets and custom solutions to institutional and individual investors.Fixed IncomeFixed Income capabilities span the full spectrum of actively managed solutions globally across debt markets. The Fixed Income organization includes seven specialized investment teams dedicated to investment excellence: Agency MBS, Broad Markets Fixed Income, Emerging Markets, Floating-Rate Loans, High Yield, Municipals, and Securitized.Data & Analytics EngineeringThis is Director position that provides specialist data analysis and expertise that drive decision-making and business insights as well as crafting data pipelines, implementing data models, optimizing data processes for improved data accuracy and accessibility, including applying machine learning and AI-based techniques.Morgan Stanley is an industry leader in financial services, known for mobilizing capital to help governments, corporations, institutions, and individuals around the world achieve their financial goals. Read on...What you'll do in the role:• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement technology solutions for the businesses. • Participate in the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements. • Provide technical expertise in Python, Shell Script, and SQL to design, develop, and maintain software applications. • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process, tools, and techniques. • Maintain a strong understanding of the Sustainability, Fixed Income, and Equity businesses to ensure that technology solutions align with business goals. • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the Sustainability / ESG and Fixed Income domains.What you'll bring to the role:Good analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Must be team oriented and work well within a global team Must be self-sufficient, be accountable and act like an owner of IT related issues handled by the team Understanding of Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
