IT / Infrastructure Project Manager - VP

Own project execution / network deployment of electronic trading infrastructure across various North America Data Centers Engage Equinix CoLocation providers to arrange and install cross connects Ensure electronic trading infrastructure readiness for ultra-low latency trading Coordinate 3rd party / external client connectivity Manage network hardware inventory Engage business unit and stakeholders to ensure project success Develop project schedules, maintain issues, and risk logs Partner with telecom carriers to procure leased lines and circuits Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio, and MS Teams. Knowledge and experience in workflow management software (e.g., Jira) and ServiceNow. Expertise in all Microsoft Office tools, especially Power Point, Excel, and Microsoft Project. Familiarity with Agile, Kanban, JIRA practices and methodology Ability to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or Financial services firm / industry Coordination with various managers and technical personnel during all project phases Experience in running physical infrastructure or engineering related programs/projects. Intermediate-level knowledge in one or more of the following: LAN, WAN, Telecommunications, Datacentre Facilities Proven ability to manage delivery/execution of a wide range of tasks and initiatives. Proven ability to work in a fast paced highly demanding environment. Experience working with client facing groups, market data teams and a full knowledge of exchanges [NYSE, Nasdaq, BATS.etc) Familiar with network infrastructure, IT Infrastructure, and network architecture. Knowledge of and the low latency and real time market data environment. Proven ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously Proficiency with project management and strategic planning tools Knowledge of working with data B2B providers like BT and TNS. Proven experience developing partnerships with and successfully coordinating across various Business, Technology, Operations, Control partners and stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to interact at all levels of the organization and tailor messages appropriately. Strong presentation skills, including ability to synthesize large amounts of data and information to create polished presentations for management. Independent self-starter who can manage multiple activities to aggressive deadlines. Eagerness to learn the business and understand detailed requirements.
