International Tax Director

- Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm - Responsible for and lead aspects of individual and team deliverables and projects, leveraging in-depth knowledge of Finance functional area, product and/or client segments - Adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls; proactively identify ways to reduce risk in work - Act as a culture carrier; embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards - - Manage and enhance the preparation of the foreign tax credit analysis - Prepare quarterly analysis for the assigned entities for tax provision purposes and to reflect current planning scenarios under consideration and capturing any significant U.S. tax accounting adjustments - Analyze income tax accounting impact of transactions - Review of uncertain tax positions under FIN 48 - Ensure that any tax law changes or structural changes are appropriately incorporated into computations and reporting - Assist in U.S. tax audit related matters Assistance with other compliance, planning, process improvements and special projects on an as needed basis are also part of the role's responsibilities - In-depth knowledge of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment and technical skills, as well as of industry and competitive environment - Ability to operate independently with respect to most job responsibilities - Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback and innovate processes - Bachelor's degree in accounting; Masters in taxation and CPA preferred - 4-6 years of hands-on experience in ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes and international tax compliance - Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel across a global workforce - Superior work ethic with high level of accountability - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel - At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role We have a track record of innovation and passion for unlocking new opportunities, we help our clients raise, manage and allocate capital. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $90,000 and $155,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
