Department Profile Global Financial Crimes (GFC) coordinates and oversees implementation of the Firm's enterprise-wide financial crime prevention efforts. GFC includes several legal and compliance disciplines and has responsibility for governance, oversight and execution of the Firm's Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions, Anti-Corruption and Government and Political Activities Compliance programs. GFC also develops and/or assists in the development of appropriate policies and procedures, including those designed to assist the business units to know their clients and conduct appropriate due diligence and to prevent, detect and report potentially suspicious activity. GFC has dedicated coverage managers and teams of analysts who advise and counsel each business unit regarding its AML, economic sanctions and anti-corruption obligations and its particular clients and transactions. Primary Responsibilities The Financial Crimes Testing Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, execution, and continuous improvement of the GFC testing program. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with GFC, NFR, and business unit stakeholders to ensure that the GFC testing program adheres to internal policy and industry best practice. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the GFC testing team's implementation of the NFR and GFC testing frameworks - Plan and monitor adherence to the annual testing schedule, taking into account stakeholder, risk assessment, industry, and other pertinent data - Advise on the design of test scripts to evaluate the effectiveness of financial crimes risk management controls - Ensure accuracy, consistency, and documentation quality across the program globally - Continuously evaluate testing methodologies, tools, and reporting to improve program efficiency and effectiveness - Maintain up to date knowledge of regulatory expectations and industry trends impacting financial crimes risk management - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testing staff and lead team capability-building initiatives - Represent the Testing and QA functions and participate in GFC Governance and Functional Committee meetings; - Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvementCandidates must have: - Bachelor's or Master's degree - 10+ years' experience and currently leading testing, QA or audit teams - Financial crimes compliance experience in the financial services industry - Experience industry with respect to processes/controls to evaluate Financial Crimes risk - Organized, with strong attention to detail - Strong analytical & critical reasoning skills - Ability to work with global and cross-functional teams spanning LCD, Technology, Operations and other areas of the Firm - Proficient in MS Office - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Creative problem-solver with high level of learning agility and initiative - CAMS certification - be certified as an Anti-Money Laundering Specialist by ACAMS or equivalent AML certification/license - or certification within 15 months of hire Skills Desired - Strong leadership qualities with the ability to assess and develop individual skills of team members by providing timely constructive feedback - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues across regions and Business Units - Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks with the skills to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment Where You'll be Working This role will require in office attendance 4 days/week. Two of those days will be Anchor Days where you will be in the office with your teammates to learn, grow, and collaborate in person. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
