The role supports the Conduct Risk framework across all business and infrastructure departments in EMEA and drives ongoing enhancement to the Conduct Risk management program. This role will report to the EMEA Head of Non-Financial Risk programme and the Glasgow Head of Legal and Compliance. What will you be doing? Engaging with business unit and infrastructure staff and management to enhance management of conduct risk within EMEA; Supporting business units and the Conduct Risk Officers in their day-to-day management of conduct risk; Contributing to the design and coordinating the delivery of training programs to ensure EMEA based staff understand conduct risk and the application of the FCA and PRA Conduct Rules; Monitoring of conduct risk incidents and providing reporting on themes and trends to Senior Management and to Conduct Risk Governance for to ensure there is effective oversight of conduct risk within EMEA; and Executing initiatives and projects to enhance components of the Framework in line with annual planning or other EMEA or Global initiatives. University degree or equivalent with strong academic credentials; Experience in financial services with a leading bank, securities house, regulator or consultancy practice in an operational, control or compliance function; An understanding of financial markets and products (in particular, Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, and Investment Banking / Capital Markets) and previous experience in Conduct Risk Management is an advantage; Proven leadership skills, including the ability to manage and motivate a headstrong collection of senior colleagues; and A highly-motivated self-starter, able to manage your own workload and respond to changing priorities.
