Job Summary

Total Reward Specialist will support the EMEA Reward team to strategically design and implement compensation and benefits strategy across the region. The role would be involved in all aspects of employee benefits (risk insurance, healthcare, pension, leave etc.) and compensation (base salary, bonuses, stock and commissions) for a number of countries within EMEA and work closely with global compensation and benefits team, HR business partners and business leaders.

There are various exciting projects that this role will be involved in, including design and implementation of a new benefits platform across various countries, res-design and introduction of new benefits programs, compensation and allowance harmonisations and Reward in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&As)

Responsibilities

  • Design, analyse, and make suggestions for compensation and benefits programs in support of the EMEA region to ensure they are aligned with the Equinix Rewards philosophy, externally competitive, fiscally responsible, and aligned with business expectations
  • Understand the business requirements and provide guidance to HR and functional leaders on reward matters
  • Analyse quantitative and qualitative data, understand trends, and distils information into actionable insights from a variety of sources on compensation and benefits
  • Participate in market analysis and job grading for the region and provide guidance on the company's job architecture
  • Keep abreast of regulatory changes in the region impacting reward that the company needs to comply with. Ensuring compensation and benefit plans comply with national and local labour laws
  • Support the establishment of benefits and pension governance process across all the countries and revamp the reward governance process by collaborating with People Experience (HRServices) and payroll
  • Support implementation of various global compensation and benefits policies across the region
  • Provide advice and guidance on all key benefits and compensation elements as needed to HR Business Partners, country HR Leads, and talent acquisition, including C&B queries
  • Support EMEA Reward Lead with business-critical reward projects in the regions such as M&A, expansions, etc
  • Analyze and prepare reports on various statutory pay reporting required within EMEA
  • Participate in annual activities such as global benefits reviews, annual compensation review cycle etc. by providing a regional perspective
  • Responsible for design, deployment and management of existing and new benefit portals and technology platforms, including project management of annual enrolment
  • Submit data to third party vendors for external benchmarking for compensation and benefits
  • Manage key relationships with vendors ensuring smooth running of benefits implementation and annual renewals
  • Execute key activities to administer benefits programs including costing, enrolment windows, define eligibility, manage vendor onboarding tasks with procurement & legal etc
  • Support employee communication process year-round on changes to compensation and benefits offerings whether due to regulations or internal changes
  • Work closely with the global compensation and benefits team

Qualifications

  • Expert in one or more key compensation and benefits areas
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to build senior stakeholder presentation decks
  • Ability to presents facts and information to management/internal stakeholders
  • Good communication skills - both oral and written
  • Experience in designing & implementing compensation and benefits programs, preferably across multiple locations
  • Experience designing and deploying new benefits platforms
  • Ability to manage projects and collaborate with multiple HR and Functional stakeholders across locations
  • Proven years of experience in Reward preferred
