We partner with advisors, institutions, and consultants to build portfolios focused on what's important to them and their clients. A leader in custom solutions for more than 30 years, we help investors access efficient market exposures, solve implementation challenges, and design multi-asset portfolios that respond to their evolving needs. We also offer systematic alpha and alternative strategies to complement clients' core holdings. This role is part of Parametric's hybrid working model, which requires working in the office 3 days a week and remotely the remaining days of the week. ABOUT THE ROLE This position is responsible for the strategy, design, management and oversight of business operations across Parametric. This position acts as a central conduit and a liaison across Parametric, MSIM and Morgan Stanley to facilitate operational efficiency and optimal collaboration by partnering with business unit stakeholders and executives. The goal is to create and ensure the smooth running of long term and day-to-day business operations across the organization according to established and new policies. This position will serve as a key business operations decision-making and planning body in coordination with the CAO. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Responsible for the implementation, management, and oversight of corporate policies and procedures. Partner with leaders across the organization to ensure policies and procedures are implemented and enforced in an efficient manner that supports the needs of the business. - Partner with teams across the firm to develop scalable business processes to support the needs of the business. Identify gaps, risk and opportunities to improve current processes and procedures. - Manage expense management for Parametric in close partnership with MSIM and MS, including expense approvals, T&E reporting, etc. - Liaise with MS Financial Reporting team to manage Parametric financial reporting needs, including monthly and quarterly financial reporting. - Manage all aspects of Vendor processes and develop and maintain key relationships for successful partnerships. - Manage contingent worker planning process, budgeting and reporting. - Manage corporate reporting and business analytics for Parametric. Implement appropriate tools and measurement systems to drive results. Enhance transparency (dashboards) on performance and progress. - Continually seek to improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity. Proactively escalate and resolve potential issues by calling them to the attention of CAO and identifying potential solutions. - Collaborate and partner with leaders across the firm to drive change and deliver results. - Challenge the status quo to support the growth and scalability of the business. Drive change quickly, bringing leaders along for the journey without interruption to day-to-day processing.JOB REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred - Minimum 10 years working in an investment management or financial services environment and excellent knowledge of the asset management business - 3+ years of management and leadership experience - 5+ years of business operations management experience a plus - Solid understanding of business functions and knowledge of the business - Excellent analytical and organizational skills - Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines. - Demonstrated project management skills - Strong written and oral communication skills - Strong ability in decision-making and problem-solving in a ambiguous, fast-paced environment - Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other software - Possess strong analytical ability, good practical judgment, excellent management and interpersonal skills with sensitivity to treating people appropriately, ability to communicate clearly and effectively, strong leadership skills, and excellent business sense Parametric believes each member of our organization makes a significant contribution to our success. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
