Commodities Structuring- Associate

A successful candidate would have an understanding of either derivative pricing or capital structure. The candidate would work closely with the origination and trading teams handling execution of complex trades, and coming up with ideas to mitigate risks and create PnL opportunities. Specific tasks will include: Develop products and ideas, and work with the origination team pitching them to clients, as well as internal stakeholders. Provide an in-depth understanding of client credit risks and work with various functions to understand the accounting, tax, capital and market risk impacts of transactions. Perform pricing analysis and coordinate with strats, trading and other relevant groups to help position the firm to win client mandates. Work with second line teams to manage the execution and implementation of transactions and improve infrastructure, risk management and operations. Work with Strats and IT in improving processes and systems.
