Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC seeks an Associate, Sales in New York, NYDesign interest analysis models to decompose revenue, uncover potential revenues, and enhance data. Optimize firm balance sheet usage and reform client derecognition calculation. Collaborate with clearing sales and controllers to generate target clients list, evaluate revenue impact, and present findings to management. Set up new client's fee schedule and optimize existing clearing finance footprint. Partner with LD sales and FID desks to breakdown and analyze revenue and return. Drive strategic initiatives to improve the business efficiency with focus on firm balance sheet impact. Serve as a financing expert in Futures, Cleared Swaps, and Listed Options in client meetings. Construct hypothetic analysis to identify upside opportunities while mitigating potential revenue risks as rate or balance move.Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $175,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.Requirements:Requires a Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years as an Associate, Analyst, or a closely related occupation. Requires three (3) years of experience with: derivative products including futures, options, and swaps; clearing processes for derivatives including margin requirements, collateral management, and settlement procedures; analyzing and understanding broader market trends and how they might impact derivatives markets and clearing operations; regulatory frameworks including Dodd-Frank, Basel III, and global markets; analyzing large datasets to derive insights related to risk, margin requirements, and trade performance; assessing and modeling risks associated with derivatives clearing including credit risk, market risk, and operational risk; analyzing P&L impacts of clearing activities including fee structures, margin requirements, and collateral optimization; building and applying quantitative models for pricing, risk assessment, and margin calculation; deep diving into models to monitor and identify trends, opportunities, and risks; SQL, Excel, VBA, and Bloomberg querying; reporting and presenting on clearing analytics and technical information to stakeholders; managing projects related to analytics, clearing, or regulatory compliance in financial markets; conducting pricing optimization and scenario analysis to evaluate the revenue potentials of portfolios under different market conditions; analytical support and insights to institutional clients regarding their clearing activities; tailoring clearing solutions and risk/return analytics based on specific client needs and portfolio characteristics; moving average and back test for daily T0 revenue estimations of different business units. Requires two (2) years of experience with: calculating, modeling, interpreting, and analyzing RWA, SLR, and PFE for derivative portfolios; SA-CCR methods for risk analysis.
