Associate, Java/Scala Developer

Work with line users and project teams to gather requirements, understand customer behaviors and their business implications, and convert these insights into high-quality solutions that streamline manual workflows into straight-through-processing (STP), enhancing operational efficiency and fostering business growth. Participate in internal and industry working groups to review and build technology delivery plans to ensure compliance with evolving regulatory reporting requirements across various regimes, including EMIR, CFTC, and JFSA. Collaborate with global teams, communicate across different regions and cultural contexts to ensure seamless coordination and successful project delivery. Support the iteration of backend/frontend services to align with business and technical requirements, including code review, bug fixes, refactoring and production turnovers. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as an Technology Associate, Software Engineer, Software Developer, or closely related occupation. Requires (5) years of experience with: Java; Spring Framework; Python; C/C++; Shell; SQL; Hazelcast; Kafka; Autosys; Message Queue (MQ); Electronic Records Archives (ERA); .NET Framework; SDLC; SFTP; Redis; and MongoDB.
