We are looking for a detail-oriented Test Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining automation tests for APIs. They will also be tasked with creating and maintaining a regression suite, analyzing test failures, and managing defect creation. If you have a strong understanding of API testing, testing frameworks, Git, CI/CD tools, and preferably Docker, we would like to meet you.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute and maintain automated tests for mainly APIs, and potentially UI.
- Create, manage and maintain the regression suite.
- Create test plans; design and execute functional tests.
- Analyze test failures and provide detailed reports.
- Identify, record, and document thoroughly the defects found during testing.
- Collaborate closely with the development team & Product Team to ensure consistent project execution.
- Implement and manage CI/CD tools for regular application testing.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Desired Skills:
- Strong knowledge of API testing and automation testing frameworks.
- Basic programming skills (any of Java/Python/Java Script) and SQL
- Basic knowledge of QA processes & methodologies
- Knowledge of version control (Git) & CI/CD tools
- Docker knowledge beneficial
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye
- Open to learn new technologies
Annual base salary gross: €53,900.00 Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Moody's total compensation package for employees.
