Associate Director, Gross to Net

Model N is hiring a Gross to Net (GTN), Reporting and Analytics Associate Director  to join our Business Services Team. The GTN, Reporting and Analytics Associate Director is responsible for the business process outsourcing for the monthly and quarterly GTN revenue accounting, reporting and analytics for pharmaceutical manufacturer clients.  Reporting to the Sr. Director, Business Services, the ideal candidate enjoys a relentless pursuit of quality service, process efficiency, innovation, and automation with strong project management skills. 
 
The GTN, Reporting and Analytics Associate Director’s role is to successfully lead and support GTN pre-close and close activities, and special reporting, forecasting and analytic projects for Model N’s Business Services clients. Main duties include accountability and responsibility of final client deliverables, overseeing Analyst's work, managing and mentoring the GTN team, and ensuring accurate and timely GTN administration including accrual and forecasting activities.

In this role, the GTN Associate Director is also responsible for the development of their team of Analysts, continuing to build their knowledge of GTN methods, reporting and analytics.  The Associate Director must be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within GTN revenue accounting. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and mentor GTN team
  • Assist in the development of process documentation, training, and development programs
  • Manage ongoing client relationships and their deliverables
  • Review and approve client billings.
  • Assist clients with developing GTN assumptions and methodologies to estimate net sales prices for client’s products.
  • Develop forecasting and accrual methodologies specific to the client
  • Identify and facilitate process improvement and business practices.
  • Facilitate discussions around workload management.
  • Maintain good customer relations with GTN clients.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly GTN estimates for pharmaceutical manufacturer clients over the following Contract Types:  Medicaid, Managed Care Commercial and Part D, Group Purchasing Organizations, TRICARE, Veterans Affairs, 340B Drug Pricing, Distribution, and Pharmacy.  
  • Must be able to perform analytics on GTN transactional data, summarize results in assumption tables, update GTN rate generators/forecasts based on assumption results, and update GTN accrual tools.  
  • Manage customer engagement projects as the leader of GTN revenue accounting subject matter expert.  
  • Responsible for producing client-ready deliverables to a high-level professional clientele.

Qualifictions

  • 8+ years of overall relevant experience with ·6+ years of experience in GTN revenue accounting, pharmaceutical experience preferred 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (CPA a plus)
  • Progressive experience managing teams or large projects
  • Experience working with large data sets 
  • Proficient with MS Excel, SharePoint
  • Experience working in a mandated deadline environment and effective management of multiple client assignments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required; high accuracy rate and attention to detail.
  • Ability to produce client-ready deliverables to a high-level professional clientele and deliver required periodic results with a high degree of accuracy and minimal management review.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment requiring excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to solve complex data issues with attention to detail.
  • Technical ability to understand underlying data structures.

Positions are eligible to participate in either our employee bonus program or commission payments, depending on the nature of the role.
