Senior Coordinator, Player Social

The Senior Coordinator, Player Social is a member of the Player Engagement team and is primarily responsible for supporting and continuously improving the Player Social Program and the management of Player Engagement-run social accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Support the overall functions of the MLB Player Social Program
  • Help improve and shape the player experience on Greenfly and within the Player Social Program as a whole
  • Liaison with agents and players and solicit feedback on program experience & app experience to optimize for max usage
  • Help liaison with agents, players, and player families on MLB Player Engagement initiatives and programming
  • This role will supervise/manage a team of Player Social Coordinators.
  • Support the overall functions of the Operations vertical of the Player Engagement Team
  • Run various social accounts managed by the Player Engagement team which currently includes accounts for the Player Social Program and 6-1-1 Podcast.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in related field
  • Minimum 3 years professional experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexible team player, with a track record of reliability and strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with celebrities or sports players a plus
  • Experience managing social accounts from strategy to execution
  • Understands the social landscape, trends, and how consumers and athletes use each platform
  • Experience improving and/or establishing processes to increase efficiency, deliver results, and meet objectives
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external partners
  • Content editing and production is a plus

Pay Range: $70,000 - $75,000

As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skills and any other factors Major League Baseball (MLB) considers relevant to the hiring decision.
