The Sales Service Executive will support the West Coast sponsorship sales team in all aspects of the sales process. Responsibilities include building media plans, corresponding with advertising agencies and clients, delivering impression guarantees for existing deals, and entertaining clients. An understanding of media math is preferred, along with experience in both linear and digital sales.
Responsibilities
- Building Digital Plans & managing TV planning process
- Working closely with internal Marketing Teams to respond to RFPs and proactively target ideas
- Partnering with other members of the Account Services team and overseeing the stewardship of proposals, deals and post-deal analysis
- Working closely with internal teams to help launch sold deals and ensure delivery
- Maintaining and cultivating agency relationships
- Helping to prospect from existing agency list(s)
- Working closely with the West Coast MLB clubs (Dodgers, Angels, Rockies, Giants, A’s, Diamondbacks, and Padres) on all of their digital and social assets

Qualifications
- At least 2 to 4 years professional experience in a media environment
- Working knowledge of the TV and digital ad marketplace
- Sports Media & Sales experience is a strong plus
- Working knowledge of how to read/build Digital & TV Media plans is a plus
- Professional, organized, and motivated, with a strong drive to succeed
- Able to anticipate client and sales team needs, including planning, research, analysis, project management and brainstorming.
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to deliver exceptional customer service
- Proactive and a team player
- Comfortable with presenting information to internal and external stakeholders
- Proactively prospect and research accounts to drive new business.
- Able to participate in certain entertaining/hospitality situations (e.g., sporting events; dinners)
- Occasional travel is required
- Excellent computer aptitude, including strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Pay Range: $67,500 - $75,000
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skills and any other factors Major League Baseball (MLB) considers relevant to the hiring decision.
