PROGRAMMATIC ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE POSTING
Location (Remote- open to candidates in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, Austin, Columbus, Minneapolis)
The Programmatic Account Executive will help grow the premium programmatic revenue strategy, collaborating with the National, Enterprise and Local Sellers across USA TODAY/Gannet's sales organization. This role will report to the Head of Programmatic Sales. We look for great people who are passionate about redefining premium publishing through innovation, creative thinking and embracing fun.
What You'll Do
- Drive premium programmatic advertising sales, while meeting and exceeding all sales goals.
- Lead meetings, video/phone calls and client discussions as an SME alongside Gannett Sales Executives and leaders across Org to help close premium programmatic revenues
- Manage, renew, and up-sell existing clients.
- Participate and represent Gannett and USA TODAY at industry events.
- Work with partner teams to ensure that clients' KPIs/needs are met.
- Lead meetings, video/phone calls and client discussions as an SME alongside Gannett Sales Org to
- Identify and influence programmatic decision makers across the agency landscape

What You'll Bring:
- Proven track record of leading teams with 1-3 years of prior programmatic sales experience
- Knowledge of Programmatic Ecosystem (DSP's, SSP's Tech Partners)
- Thrives in a fast-paced, exciting environment while managing multiple priorities and maintaining an unwavering commitment to quality
- Strong communication skills including written and verbal presentations
- Stellar written communication and presentation skills.
- A strong team player with the ability to lead by example.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
The annualized base salary for this role will range between $70,000 and $80,000. Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications and experience. Note: variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable.
