Public Policy Manager

Meta is looking for a highly motivated and well-connected team player to join our US Policy External Affairs team. This position will help support Meta's engagement with trade associations, industry groups, and other external partners, and the opportunity to help build new opportunities. This is a great opportunity to work on novel public policy issues in an exciting environment.

Public Policy Manager Responsibilities:

  • Regular reporting and tracking of activities, including filings, trade committees, etc.
  • Support the building of trusted relationships with trade associations, cross-industry working groups, and industry peers
  • Regular engagement with trade association working groups
  • Design and execute strategies for buy-in and adoption from external stakeholders
  • Design and execute high impact policy strategies and programmatic initiatives to advance the companies primary goals
  • Represent Meta at meetings and conferences
  • Gather information about broader industry trends and developments
Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with technology policy issues
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, including weekly tracking and reporting
  • Proven experience in working collaboratively to gain support for their desired outcomes
  • A credible track record of planning and execution on projects with industry associations and groups as well as industry peers
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Past experience in lobbying, working at / with trade associations, or within tech companies
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment and to make sound judgments under deadlines

$158,000/year to $228,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
