Electrical Design Validation Engineer

Electrical Design Validation Engineer in Wrist Wearables Hardware will be an integral member of the Wrist Wearables Electrical Engineering team. This position will have the opportunity to influence product design, by assessing performance of prototypes and builds through fixtures validation and user testing.

Electrical Design Validation Engineer Responsibilities:

• Design, expand EE test automation and processes
• Support system bring up and debug activities
• Rework devices as needed for test/validation and studies
• Propose and execute solutions for HW and SW fixes for data collection
• Python scripting for automation
• Clearly communicate test plans and results

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Electrical System Verification or related experience
• Experience with definition of validation test plans and developing detailed electrical validation SOPs
• Experience executing electrical validation on the bench. Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMM, e-load, power supply, power analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, and temp chamber
• Understanding of board schematics and board layout, finding proper probe locations and identify potential points of failure in the DUT

Preferred Qualifications:

• Python, and LabVIEW development experience
• Board and system level validation and debugging experience
• Hardware and Firmware verification experience
• Experience with consumer electronics test and verification
