Regional Associate Director Medical Affairs - Gynecologic Oncology

The Regional Associate Director Medical Affairs (RADMA) is responsible for driving execution of scientific & medical affairs plans for gynecologic malignancies within the US. They will work with the RDMA to support regional cross-functional teams, including regional Field Medical Affairs, Commercial, Outcomes Research, Policy and Market Access. This is a regionally based position within our company Research Laboratories Global Medical and Scientific Affairs (Research & Development (R&D) GMSA).

Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Executes the annual country medical affairs plan for their assigned TA
  • Supports the Regional Medical Affairs Team to ensure execution of agreed medical tactics and leverage best practices
  • Supports the RDMA in executing regional medical affair team meetings
  • Ensures scientific exchange is aligned with the global scientific communications platform
  • With Direction from the RDMA, partners with regional Field Medical Affairs, Commercial, Outcomes Research, regional Policy and regional Market Access to drive development and execution of region plans
  • Consolidates actionable medical insights from region
  • Engages with a network of contracted scientific leaders and other key stakeholders (therapeutic guideline committees, payers, public groups, government officials, medical societies) from their region
  • Supports, as regional TA expert, affiliates staff in engagement with their national scientific leaders
  • Organizes regional expert input events to answer Our Company's questions regarding how to implement new indications, advisory boards, and expert input forums
  • Supports the RDMA in identifying and communicating regional content and training requirements

Position Qualifications:

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • MD, PhD or PharmD

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in Medical Affairs or Medical Information within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong prioritization and decision-making skills
  • Able to effectively collaborate with partners across divisions in a matrix environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, communication (written as well as oral) skills, in addition to results-oriented project management skills

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • 2+ years prior oncology experience )
  • Scientific leadership and other key stakeholders (payers, public groups, government officials, medical professional organizations) in the assigned therapeutic area

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected salary range:
$164,800.00 - $259,400.00
