We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Merch IT team. This role will focus on designing, maintaining, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment strategies across Azure and GitHub environments. As a senior member, you’ll collaborate with architecture, development, QA, and security teams to enable high-velocity, secure, and reliable software delivery. You will also help guide the evolution from DevOps to DevSecOps practices, continuously improving how we build, test, and release applications. You will be part of a team that supports multiple Agile product teams by delivering and maintaining automated DevOps capabilities, driving continuous improvement, and embedding quality into the software delivery lifecycle.

- Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub for Merchandising IT applications.
- Automating infrastructure provisioning with Terraform to enable reliable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Supporting and optimizing advanced deployment strategies such as blue-green, canary, and dark deployments to ensure seamless releases with minimal risk.
- Integrating tools for static code analysis, security scans, artifact management, and quality gates into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Collaborating with product and delivery teams working in a SAFe Agile framework to provide timely build, release, and infrastructure support.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues in builds and deployments; acting as a technical escalation point for DevOps challenges.
- Leading DevSecOps transformation initiatives, partnering with enterprise security teams to embed security controls in the software delivery lifecycle.
- Continuously identifying and implementing improvements in pipeline speed, reliability, and developer experience.
- Monitoring and driving improvements in KPIs such as unit test coverage, pipeline health, deployment frequency, MTTR, and change failure rate.
- Mentoring other DevOps engineers and contributing to knowledge-sharing across teams.
- Ensuring best practices are documented, shared, and consistently followed across all DevOps efforts.
What we need you to bring:
- A Bachelor's degree or 12 years of related experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps with deep expertise in CI/CD pipeline creation and optimization.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub/GitHub Actions, and YAML scripting.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Azure Cloud services and resource provisioning.
- Proven expertise in using Terraform for managing infrastructure as code (IaC) in cloud environments.
- Demonstrated experience with deployment strategies like blue-green, canary, and dark deployments.
- Familiarity with integrating security tools and practices into DevOps workflows (DevSecOps).
- Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment, supporting multiple Agile teams simultaneously.
- Ability to troubleshoot build, integration, and deployment issues and provide hands-on support to developers.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across architecture, dev, QA, and security teams.
- Have familiar experience with ServiceNow platform, change, problem and incident management. Along with DevOps tool integration with ServiceNow.
- Expertise with the implementation and configuration of vendor packages/business systems.
- Experience as a team member on project teams in a cross-functional environment. Agile team experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
- Knowledge of secure code design principles and practices.
- Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
- Preferred certifications include SAFe DevOps / SAFe Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, and GitHub Foundations/GitHub Actions.

The pay range for this position is listed below.
$100,000.00 - $156,000.00This pay range represents the minimum and maximum base pay for the position, which is determined by factors such as market data, the qualifications required, the level of responsibilities associated with the role and other roles at this same level. Your specific pay rate within this range will be based on your experience, qualifications, and skills compared to the internal team you’ll be joining.
