Job Description

The Opportunity: 

The Sr Talent Acquisition Partner plays an integral part in sourcing top talent to Mattel.  We work as a collaborative team so this individual should be versatile and open to recruiting positions in IT, Creative, Digital, and Marketing during their tenure. This role will sit onsite Monday-Thursday in El Segundo, CA with remote work on Friday's.

What Your Impact Will Be: 

  • Partner with hiring managers and People & Culture business partners to proactively understand hiring needs.
  • Source, recruit and hire top talent to meet the needs of our organization.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure hiring requirements are understood, anticipated and met.
  • Develop robust candidate pipelines across a diverse requisition load.
  • The ability to influence utilizing talent market insights, competitive intelligence and talent demographics to inform hiring managers and the team.
  • Evaluate the skill level and overall fit of applicants against hiring managers' needs through resume screening, phone interviews and in-person interviews.
  • Maintain communication with and provide excellent customer service to candidates and hiring managers as they go through the hiring process
  • Manage an average requisition count of 20+ exempt positions
  • Drive the offer process- including extending offers, negotiation and closing candidates.
  • Use a combination of recruiting techniques to creatively evaluate, network, and hire top tier talent

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years’ experience with corporate and/or agency recruiting experience including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting
  • Bachelor’s degree preffered or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems - SmartRecruiters preferred 
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Talent Insights, x-ray searches and niche job boards.
  • Strong communication skills, professionalism and business acumen that is necessary to interact with candidates, hiring managers and senior leaders within our organization.
  • Experience with industries such as creative, entertainment or CPG preferred.
  • Intermediate skills with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.

The annual base salary range for this position is between $95,000 and $114,000 
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience. Mattel offers competitive total pay programs, comprehensive benefits, and resources to help empower a culture where every employee can reach their full potential.
