Quality Assurance Analyst I

Role:
- The test engineer will be a part of an agile team conducting performance tests on applications and products.

Responsibilities include:
- Preparing load test scripts in JMeter.
- Performing load, endurance, scalability, and spike tests.
- Analyzing test results to identify bottlenecks and performance issues.
- Documenting test results.
- Logging defects in Jira.
- Generating test data for defined tests, recognizing test environment preparation needs, executing existing test plans, and reporting results.
- Participating in requirements reviews, story elaborations, and testing activities.
- Collaborating closely with developers to understand applications and analyze performance issues.
- Sharing experience and insights by suggesting process improvements.
- Conducting demos of test results for stakeholders.

Skills:
- Relevant work experience in conducting performance testing of mission-critical applications.
- Knowledge of QA processes and testing methodologies.
- Experience in creating workload models and collecting performance requirements from stakeholders.
- Ability to create Performance Test Plans and Performance Test Reports.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, and BlazeMeter.
- Proficient in API testing, with experience using tools like Postman and Insomnia.
- Familiarity with different protocols and API/Web services.
- Experience in performance monitoring and analysis using tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, AppDynamics, Windows Performance Monitor, and Grafana.
