Title and Summary

Manager, Products and Solutions

Overview
When MasterCard enables transactions, we deliver value to cardholders, merchants and financial institutions. Based out of Taipei office, the role of Manager, Product management offers the successful individual the opportunity to manage one of the key revenue contributing product set in the market.
This individual will be responsible for the shaping and executing the core product plan, collaborate with internal stakeholders and in-country teams to advance issuing opportunity and improve Mastercard cardholder value proposition.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong execution focus with strong analytical and organization skills and knowledge of the payments/service industry and the ability to create and deliver incremental revenue.

Roles Description

• Provide consultative sales enablement, especially during complex and cross-departmental sales/product discussions through the combination of deep functional skills and a thorough understanding of Mastercard's assets, positioning the organization as the best product partner for the customer. Negotiate successfully & reaches mutually beneficial solutions for all parties on product solutions. Proactively identify opportunities to create customized product solutions.

• Possess deep knowledge of payment market products and programs from both an issuer and end-user client perspective.

• Monitor the landscape of competitive products and industry trends via desktop research or primary research engagements, understand their implications on the cards portfolio, and make the necessary adjustments.

• Develop credit/debit card product strategy and analytics for Taiwan, build dashboard and track key performance indicators across all Taiwan products.

• Closely work with varies teams for Taiwan credit / debit product strategy execution, i.e. debit expansion to more key issuers, including but not limit to debit plus and digital first.

• Develop strategy and recommend new, differentiated features and benefits to enhance the Small Business sales and optimization strategy for existing and prospective issuers, 3rd party partners and their clients in order to drive new business and incremental growth for Mastercard's Small Business portfolio.

• Proven team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects concurrently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work on a team and independently
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Attention to detail.
