Mastercard's Open Banking team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Business Development for Australia.

This role is critical in driving future global revenue by identifying, developing, and closing high-impact opportunities across new and existing customers.

We are looking for someone with a track record of delivering results, managing strategic pipelines, and driving revenue growth through direct client engagement and cross-functional collaboration.

As a Client-facing Leader, You Will
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline across key verticals.
• Close deals through direct selling to C-suite executives, founders, and other key decision-makers.
• Champion innovative solutions by aligning client needs with Mastercard's capabilities and technology.
• Develop business cases and financial models to support strategic opportunities.
• Lead negotiations and manage the contracting process in collaboration with Legal and other departments.
• Look for opportunities to continuously improve the sales and client relationship management process.
• Support marketing initiatives and events to elevate Mastercard's brand and presence in the region.
• Collaborate across functions-Product, Finance, Legal, Franchise, and Data-to drive business development efficiency and effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years sales experience in building and closing complex sales pipelines, enterprise solution sales or relationship management.
• Experience in sales in any of these fields is highly desirable: Open Banking, Payments, Data, Risk, FinTech solutions
• Demonstrated ability to win competitive deals and grow revenue across diverse verticals
• Experience in leading complex sales processes, including managing RFI and RFPs.
• Adept at influencing stakeholders within a matrixed, global organization and working across multiple time zones
• Skilled at building deep relationships with financial institutions, FinTechs and ecosystem leaders.
• Strong commercial judgment, analytical skills, and a data-driven mindset.
• Superior presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, comfortable preparing high quality sales and solutions presentations and ability to deliver presentations to a large executive audience with confidence.
• Passion for learning, resilience, and embracing change in fast-paced environments.
