Job Description:
Pet Nutrition's objective is to become a digital-first organisation. To support the global ambition and regional needs a senior digital lead is needed to drive Europe's Digital Marketing digital agenda.
This pivotal role is at the intersection of strategy, technology, and innovation that defines, aligns, and oversees the delivery of end-to-end Digital Marketing Strategy, including business-as-Usual and Transformational objectives. This role also shapes the future of our digital landscape to deliver maximum impact at scale
What will be your key responsibilities?
Leadership & Collaboration
- Define and align the Digital Marketing Strategy in partnership with key business leaders, including Marketing, Sales (DBU), and E-commerce, ensuring it supports overarching business objectives. (Partnering with CoE, Global PC and other regional functions)
- Drive business value by proactively identifying challenges and opportunities, leveraging digital solutions to enhance pet parents experience and efficiency.
- Act as a strategic partner to Marketing, Sales (DBU), and Commercial Excellence teams, driving cross-functional alignment on Mk campaigns (CRM), promotions, innovation launches, and shopper experiences.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation across local, regional, and third-party teams, driving engagement and ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with Global Petcare CoE, Global Platforms, Regional Functions, and local markets to ensure digital efforts are integrated into brand plans and go-to-market strategies
Expertise & Innovation
- Serve as the go-to expert for Digital Marketing Solutions (MARTECH), providing deep functional expertise on platforms and tech and industry insights (including understanding of Martech integration, data flows, and how a the Martech ecosystem of tech supports and complements the digital marketing function). This includes elements like
- Customer Data Platform, Customer Relationship Management, Consent Management, Personalisation, Retail Media Networks...
- Continuously identify improvement areas and introduce innovative ideas by leveraging both internal best practices and external trends.
- Provide strategic guidance on adoption and change management, working closely with the Regional Growth Team to drive seamless transitions.
- Bring thought leadership by external perspective insights from the CPG industry-especially in areas like first-party data strategy, D2C experiences and other trends that are relevant for digital marketing community

Roadmap & Execution
- Prioritise and align the Marketing Digital roadmap across regional and global teams.
- Work with the PNE Digital Delivery team to ensure successful roadmap execution.
Digital Operations & Optimisation
- Oversee the regional Marketing digital ecosystem, ensuring effective support, governance, and continuous improvement. Full end-to-end responsibility of Martech portfolio of tech including understanding of cost of ownership
- Simplify and optimize the digital solutions landscape to enhance adoption, while maintaining alignment with the regional functional strategy while partnering with global PC for the GDP transformational agenda
- Manage service escalations and lead crisis resolution, ensuring minimal disruption and swift problem-solving for digital solutions.
