We have a fantastic opportunity for an Senior Employee Relations Partner to join our Employee Experience Team based in London OR Maidenhead, UK.

The ER Team are based across 8 countries and supporting 23 countries pan-EMEA. We deal with all employee and labour relations activity within EMEA and work closely with our global ER colleagues.

What you'll do:
  • Provide consultation on disciplinary action and involuntary terminations.
  • Coach managers and employees on performance management.
  • Advise HRBPs and our business leaders on how to handle reorganizations from an ER perspective.
  • Responsible for collective and individual consultation with employees when required.
  • Support in the implementation of new or modified policies in region.
  • Collaborate with Employment legal department, CoEs and HRBPs and provide general consultation on employee relations and employment law topics.
  • Adhere to Adobe case management and reporting mechanisms.
  • Participate in projects, regionally and internationally, as requested to scale as we grow and provide outstanding outcomes and experience for our internal customers.
  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques to resolve situations.
  • Coach managers on employee individual and sensitive issues (e.g., returning from leave of absence, wellbeing topics etc.)
  • Assess and investigate Employee grievances or complaints.
  • Conduct investigations along with other key partners across the organisation.
  • Coach and support Managers on planning for and communicating employee separations to include Settlement Agreements.
  • Coach employees/managers through partnership, behaviour and provide mediation or conflict resolution with Managers and/or employees where needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Great communication and coaching skills
  • A track record of strong cross-functional collaboration and partnershipmanaging multiple complex case load

  • Experience in all areas of Employee Relations in a fast paced and challenging environment
  • Proven knowledge of HR concepts, local/regional employment laws, and statutory requirements. Ability to apply them while using Adobe's values.
  • Ability to deal with difficult and ambiguous situations as well as initiating solutions.
  • Wider Employment law knowledge or background across other countries, particularly Ireland, would be helpful.
  • Experience of working in a Global Matrix environment.

What you need to succeed:

  • A well-developed knowledge of UK employment law.
  • A pragmatic and commercial approach.
  • Experience in providing guidance in implementation of reorganisations, M&As, individual involuntary terminations, performance management and investigations.
  • Demonstrable influencing and partnership skills to work across organizations, groups and cultures

  • Ability to navigate in circumstances, without direction, if need be, and to drive new challenges to optimal outcomes.
  • Able to use data to draw insights, inform decisions and drive action.
  • Highly effective communication skills, including effective listening, questioning skills, presentation, negotiation, and persuasion.
  • Demonstrable experience in conflict management.
  • Ability to use own judgment to problem solve, make decisions and involve key individuals at the appropriate time.
