Supports Launch and Engineering with management of non-series demand. Must coordinate externally to customer and suppliers and internally with operations, engineering and launch to ensure smooth implementation of new changes and/or new products into the production process, while providing leadership and guidance to the launch coordination team.
Job Security
• Leads all launch coordination activities in an extremely organized fashion.
• Provides guidance to the Launch Coordination Team ensuring all team objectives are met on time.
• Uses effective forms of communication regularly to update the team on upcoming activities and current projects.
• Owner and maintains a detailed and organized build schedule to ensure shipment plans to meet program requirements.
• Manages all incoming demand for non-series product, this includes but is not limited to, new program demand, T-Cars, COP and other testing requirements, and PTR's.
• Confirms BOM from customer of requirement (internally or external).
• Manages BOM into an order demand in the system.
• Support special seat build material tracking - parts in house confirmation, through organized spreadsheets.
• Support special seat build production status tracking and/or production support, through organized spreadsheets.
• Support the team with preparing seats for shipment to customers as required.
• Manages order in the system to completion, including backflushing of materials, invoicing customer, and closing of requirement.
• Support with Engineering Change Management - material implementation or containment to ensure clean break points to the customer and no shipment of obsolete parts.
• Lead part inventory and location confirmation ahead of build events to ensure all parts needed for builds are available in the quantities required, noted in an organized spreadsheet.
• Support tracking program build and production build events using the tools defined by the department.
• Tracks and maintains KPI for on time builds of non-series demands.
• Actively participates on projects designed to support program requirements, as directed by engineering and launch management.
• Oversee inventory, organization, and cleanliness of the Launch/Engineering Part Storage Cage.
• Proposes departmental and process improvements to streamline the overall success of the company and success in meeting customer expectations.
• Other tasks as defined based on department needs.

• Adhere to and follow all company health and safety policies, practices, and rules for the workplace.
• Ensure adherence to established housekeeping standards.
• Respond immediately to items brought to his/her attention with respect to hazards, defects or non-compliance issues.
Communication
• Attend all monthly employee meetings.
• Attend all departmental touchpoint meetings (escalating issues and flowing information to the team).
• Attend all weekly Open Issues List Meetings with status updates.
• Attend all scheduled training sessions, and complete related course materials.
• Follow the Principles of the Employee's Charter and the Corporate Constitution.
• Provide feedback to employees (both positive and negative) on an ongoing basis.
• Update employee Radar Charts quarterly, for the Launch Coordination Team, and prepare formal reviews.
• Prepare and execute an annual formal annual review through Workday for your team members.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong leadership skills, guiding the team in a positive manner but able to hold accountable when needed.
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred, but not required,
o Technical or Business related studies (studying or completed)
• Demonstrates good interpersonal skills to work in a team environment to accomplish tasks through positive interaction with others; both internally and externally.
• Previous experience using Microsoft Office tools - must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Understands problem solving methodologies;
• Capable of working alone to finish the task.
• Proven strong organizational skills.
• Team player with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible; work any shift schedule according to business needs and able to work outside of normal working hours.
• Ability to plan and independently prioritize work.
• A proven record of dependability is required.
• 2 years of Quality experience preferred
