Client Success Manager (Trials)

San Diego, CA / Remote

As a Trial Success Manager (TSM) you'll work closely with our Mid-Market Sales teams to help demonstrate the capabilities of our video safety and video telematic solutions to trial clients. You'll be responsible for the management and success of trials while working closely with our prospective client to understand their business and safety objectives and design a program solution that best meets their needs. Through a standardized consultative methodology, you will educate the client on standard processes for identifying, understanding, and reducing the causes of risky driving behavior within their fleets, as well as focus on driver and coach adoption. The successful end of a project results in the client becoming a long-term partner who implements our products across their entire fleet. You Get To:
  • Play a key role within each trial project acting as the primary contact for clients throughout the trial process, developing strong relationships at a variety of levels within the client organization and effectively influencing key contacts
  • Collaborate with sales team to design a customized trial win strategy that meets a clients' safety objectives in a competitive environment
  • Partner with the Mid Market Key Account Team on expansion opportunities and renewal efforts
  • Manage the entire trial project plan working with cross-functional teams to ensure key achievements and timelines are met
  • Consult on topics including organizational change, communication strategy, risk management, coaching techniques and more
  • Build and deliver effective training, best course of action and program performance presentations using data analytics
  • Understand the competitive landscape and strategically implement a winning strategy against the competition
  • Responsible for delivering high levels of customer happiness
  • Other duties as assigned
What You Need:
  • 3+ years of account management and strategic consulting experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to build strong relationships, including the ability to empower and influence clients and decision-makers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication style, particularly strong persuasion and negotiation skills
  • Strong technical insight, ability to learn technical products quickly and work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Proven success running sophisticated projects and communicating key results and insights
  • Experience within industries such as: services, trucking, and fleet is highly preferred
  • Ability to travel

Salary is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan. The expected hiring salary for this position is:
$67,875.00 - $85,625.00
