Your Impact

The Creative Designer will play a key role in supporting Creative Senior Managers, Creative Managers, Senior Creative Designers, Copywriters, and Producers in creating marketing layouts. This position involves graphic design and production for both print and digital assets. Designers are responsible for crafting impactful concepts in alignment with the Lowe's brand, while ensuring flexibility to address brand, promotional, and vendor messages. The ideal candidate will stay up to date on the latest media channel formats, standards, and trends in in-store design. They will collaborate closely with managers to translate business briefs into compelling visual designs. Designers will create multiple visual options to meet business needs and are accountable for Tier 2-3 projects, working independently on print or digital assets. Experience across various channels including digital, social media, print, and signage is essential for success in this role.

What you will do

  • Develops and refines design concepts and solutions based on creative briefs and business strategies, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Collaborates with creative managers to prioritize workload and determine the most effective design approach.
  • Partners with creative operations teams to ensure all work is designed and delivered on time, meeting deadlines and expectations.
  • Manages a full workload of tactical, production design requests on a daily basis, while actively growing professional skills through feedback and guidance from senior designers and design managers.
  • Executes creative assignments both individually and as part of a collaborative team, working closely with other creative studio services.
  • Consistently produces high-quality designs that elevate and enhance the Lowe's brand identity.
  • Utilizes Workfront for efficient job workload management and tracking of ongoing projects.
  • Uses ProofHQ to traffic design work for review, ensuring timely feedback and approval when appropriate.
  • Presents design work to the Associate Creative Director (ACD) for review and final approval, making necessary revisions as directed.
  • Understanding of visual presentation and store displays with regards to scale.
  • Familiarity with environmental design and how users navigate and understand a space.
  • Designs print and digital materials for Lowe's, including but not limited to direct mail, in-store signage, digital displays, and point-of-purchase (POP) materials.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design or related field
  • 3-5 Years of general Marketing or related experience
  • 1-2 Years in Creative design experience

Preferred Skills/Education

  • 1-2 Years in Retail design experience
