Your Impact
The primary purpose of this role is to oversee various components of tax including audits, appeals, returns, licenses, tax accounting, etc. The Manager Tax leads processes and people, to ensure all
deadlines are met and calculations are correct. It is critical to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role oversees tax functions such as income, payroll, property, or indirect
tax within the overall tax function. The Manager Tax is expected to perform complex calculations, research and review the work of accountants.
What you will do
- Oversees all functions related to the admissibility of import product, including harmonized tariff classification, country of origin determination, applicability of antidumping and countervailing duty orders, duty preference programs and other government agency requirements;
- Ensures admissibility functions remain compliant with regulatory requirements and adhere to the protocols defined pursuant to Lowe's participation in the CTPAT-Trade Compliance program;
- Respond to requests from Customs related to admissibility of import product;
- Coordinates with partner business areas and offshore resources on projects related to reviews of HTS assignment, tariff engineering and origin diversification;
- Assists in the education and training of internal business partners on the mechanics of tariff classification, country of origin determination and other Customs admissibility requirements.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Business, or Finance and 6 Years Tax and/or accounting experience (public or private). Masters in Accounting or Tax can be substituted for experience
• 2 years' experience leading a team and/or managing others with direct and indirect reports
Preferred Skills/Education
• Master's Degree Accounting, Tax, CPA, or MBA and 6 Years Corporate tax experience

Pay Range: $98,200.00 - $164,000.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
