As a member of Liftoff’s Product team, you will work across the company and the broader ecosystem to identify opportunities and create new products and services. You will possess an understanding of the advertising and mobile applications landscape, knowledge of the gaming and ad tech industry, competitive offerings, and customer needs, and leverage qualitative and quantitative data to support feature prioritization and positioning. You are detail-oriented and will work to ensure that your products exceed the highest standards of customer experience, technical precision, scalability, and profitability.

You possess a strong background in product management, product development, and have the ability to communicate, coordinate, as well as influence a range of stakeholders including executive management, engineering, and business development teams.

The Sr. Product Manager, SDK is responsible for Liftoff’s SDK product across all mobile platforms which is used by developers at top mobile gaming and entertainment companies worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall lifecycle of Liftoff’s SDK product on Android, iOS, and Windows platforms - defining, documenting (PRDs), prioritizing, and communicating product and customer requirements, and working closely with engineering to deliver best in class products
  • Work closely with platform teams to align strategies between ad serving, data, and creative teams. 
  • Work closely with our Solutions Engineering team, publisher sales team, and developers to gather and incorporate feedback. 
  • Manage and prioritize backlog to maintain the highest quality and efficiency of releases. 
  • Perform competitive feature analysis with other ad network SDK offerings.
  • Quantitatively and qualitatively measure network traffic and usage to measure the success of your products.
  • Ensure your cross-functional product squad is prepared to deliver features on time and with measurable value.
  • Establish measurable product objectives that align with the organization’s product strategy and outcomes.
  • Communicate regularly across stakeholders, product squads, customers, and executive leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
    • Bachelor's Degree in CS/Engineering or relevant experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience managing a technical product and/or mobile applications
  • Comfortable with UI-less software and able to learn and understand systems by studying them.
  • Understanding of software architecture, design, and documentation, with an emphasis on driving toward a high-quality developer experience.
  • Familiar with the benefits of instrumentation and analytics for the purpose of designing better products for our customers and players.
  • Driven to reach consensus among multiple stakeholders and customers.
  • Experience leading multiple simultaneous projects through the full software development life cycle.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Comfortable giving presentations to large groups and senior management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous software engineering experience, especially in SDKs and APIs. 
  • Ability to define a compelling product, path to market, and then evangelize that vision internally and externally
  • Experience with business case development and scenario planning

Location:

Our preference is to hire someone based in Pacific timezone as this role collaborates closely with team in APAC and EMEA. This role eligible for full-time remote work in one of our entities: CA, CO, ID, IL, FL, GA, MA, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TX, UT, and WA. We are a remote-first company with US hubs in Redwood City, Los Angeles, and NYC.

Compensation: 

Liftoff offers all employees a full compensation package that includes equity and health/vision/dental benefits associated with your country of residence. Base compensation will vary based on candidate location and experience. The following are our base salary ranges for this role: 

SF Bay Area, NYC, Los Angeles/Orange County:  $170,000 - $200,000
Seattle/Olympia, Austin, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Boston: $155,000 - $185,000
All other cities and towns in our approved states: $145,000 - $175,000
