Summary
JOB SUMMARY: The Pediatric Service Line Nurse Manager will provide support to Inpatient Peds, PICU and NICU at Sinai Hospital. Responsible for ensuring that safe, age-appropriate patient care is provided during hours of unit operation. Functions as role model, advisor, resource, and leader for other members of the patient care team. Unified by the core purpose of creating a healthier community one person at a time, the members of the Division of Patient Care Services commit themselves to sustaining a culture focused on achieving optimal patient outcomes. REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred
- 3-5 years of leadership experience within the pediatric service line acute setting required
- Maryland Registered Nurse License or eligibility to obtain Maryland license required
- American Heart Association BLS Certification required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
- Pediatric Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Course preferred
* Pediatric Advanced Life Support per unit guidelines; Advanced Life Support per unit guidelines; Neonatal resuscitation program per unit guidelines; National Certification required
