We are looking for a talented Program Manager (Director I, Product Research) to join USRM's Property & Specialty Delivery team and drive development of the next generation of pricing programs for Homeowners and Condo! You'll get to collaborate with a talented cross-functional teams across Product, Data Science, Technology and Experience to deliver some of our most innovative programs in the Property & Specialty Portfolio that deliver exceptional value to our customers. The successful candidate will bring top-tier project management skills, with a proven ability to clearly define work deliverables, hold teams accountable, and maintain focus amidst the complexities of a large, dynamic organization like Liberty Mutual. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by driving the successful delivery of transformational programs that align with our mission to provide best in class insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end program management of a complex, multi-year technical project focused on developing new homeowners insurance programs within Liberty Mutual's Property and Specialty Product Delivery organization.
  • Clearly define project scopes, deliverables, milestones, and timelines, ensuring alignment among data science, actuarial, business, and technology teams.
  • Develop and maintain detailed program plans, manage execution, and escalate risks to meet strategic business objectives and customer needs.
  • Implement strong governance and communication frameworks to promote transparency and stakeholder engagement across all levels of the organization.
  • Proactively identify risks, manage dependencies, and facilitate timely resolution of issues to keep the program on track in a fast-paced, large enterprise environment.
  • Drive accountability and ownership among cross-functional teams, ensuring delivery of high-quality outcomes.
  • Provide clear, concise, and timely status reporting and presentations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate the ability to navigate and influence within a complex organizational matrix to maintain program momentum.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related discipline; advanced degree or PMP certification preferred.
  • Proven success managing large-scale, multi-year technical programs involving cross-functional teams including data science, actuarial, business, and technology professionals.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills with the ability to clearly articulate and break down complex initiatives into actionable deliverables.
  • Strong influencing and leadership skills as an individual contributor, capable of driving accountability without direct supervisory authority.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and align diverse stakeholders, including senior executives.
  • Ability to maintain composure and focus in a dynamic, matrixed organization while effectively managing competing priorities.
  • Prior experience working in or closely with Property and Specialty insurance products or programs is a plus.
