Description

We are seeking an organized and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of warehouse activities, including material receipt, storage, inventory control, and movement to production. This role plays a key part in ensuring that material flow aligns with production schedules and engineering requirements, while maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and manage the movement of materials from warehouse receipt to production delivery.
  • Develop raw material and scheduling requirements based on engineering specifications and production timelines.
  • Coordinate material movement across purchasing, warehouse, and production departments to ensure workflow efficiency.
  • Supervise warehouse, shipping, and receiving personnel, providing direction, training, and performance oversight.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure appropriate min/max levels are established and followed.
  • Conduct and support annual physical inventory audits and cycle counts.
  • Respond to and fulfill customer material or inventory inquiries.
  • Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted safely and comply with applicable safety regulations and organizational policies.
  • Identify and implement improvements to warehouse processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Basic Qualifications

  • TS/SCI w/Poly clearance is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in materials management, warehousing operations, or production planning.
  • Proven experience working with Bills of Materials (BOM) and interpreting engineering specifications to determine material requirements.
  • Proficiency in Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) and materials management systems.
  • Understanding of inventory control processes and ability to coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to provide information across departments and support cross-functional coordination.
  • Ability to train, assist, and lead lower-level employees in daily operational tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve routine to moderately complex material flow and planning issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree or vocational training in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory systems.
  • Familiarity with material selection for manufacturing based on cost, function, and performance.
  • Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment with high-volume material flow.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements in warehousing or material planning workflows.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $44,200.00 - $79,900.00
