Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a fully cleared Video Systems Engineer to support an enterprise IT program. The selected candidate will utilize their experience in video production infrastructure, software packages, and networks to conduct O&M work on enterprise workstations tailored for video production, audio system broadcast type equipment for live productions, and working/updating the system storage as it is at end of life.

The team you'll be joining develops and implements the overarching technology strategy for the client organization's business systems which build, deploy, and maintains corporate business applications supporting financial, security, medical, human resources, facilities, logistics, travel, and acquisitions. The office supports corporate business applications while identifying and promoting information technology and program management best practices. They also promote integration by providing tools to streamline corporate business processes and systems, support data-driven decisions by providing access to usable and reliable information, quickly and easily.
The client organization is interested in improving accessibility of its internal IT systems. Accessibility in this context includes Section 508 requirements and other reasonable accommodations in application design to make system more useable for all users.
In this role you will work closely with video production specialists, multimedia design and graphics teams to design, configure and maintain network infrastructure in support of the client's video production unit serving multiple sister units across the organization. You will:
- Assess and validate video production equipment requirements within the client's unit and across the organization, and assess and validate video/multimedia software package requirements within the unit and across the organization for inclusion into the video network.
- Assist in cooperatively validating video production network equipment with organization's security elements and research and prepare technical proposals for presentation to the client's video production management team and security elements for approval prior to the addition of new technologies to the network.
- Provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M), upgrades, and content management support for the organization's video network; utilize network analysis tools to identify performance problems in the network; troubleshoot to restore network to optimal performance levels; and assist and prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Required Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated experience with video network infrastructure and of a wide variety of broadcast production workflows and storage configurations.
- Demonstrated experience with of a wide variety of video production software packages such as, but not limited to: Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, AfterEffects, 3D modeling and animation software, and video and audio editing software plug-ins and extensions.
- Demonstrated experience with of a wide variety of broadcast video hardware and studio equipment, including: cameras, lighting kits, and audio recording/processing devices.
- Demonstrated experience with best practices for video network signal and footage processing from camera to mass storage in a secure environment.
- Demonstrated experience with researching and support procuring relevant equipment and software involving broadcast video production within a secure environment.
- Demonstrated experience translating organizational security restrictions into specific requirements within the procurement process.
- Demonstrated experience authoring security plans for the video production network.
- Demonstrated experience with designing and configuring video production networks.
- Demonstrated experience with maintaining and upgrading video production networks.
- Demonstrated experience with procuring and installing updated video production software within a secure network environment.
- Demonstrated experience with securing security approvals for hardware and software procurements and installations.
- Demonstrated experience installing required video studio equipment, to include lighting systems, cameras, Teleprompters, and audio equipment.
- Demonstrated experience using adapters and other peripherals to modify video and audio equipment to ensure compatibility with secure video network.
- Demonstrated experience authoring robust security plans for video studios
Desired Experience, Skills, and Education:
- Demonstrated experience utilizing strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Demonstrated experience documenting process and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience with tool idea conceptualization and requirements design.
- Demonstrated experience working with Windows, UNIX, and Linux platforms.
- Advanced degree in Software Engineering or similar.
The posted salary range is based on Leidos job code architecture and does not reflect individual program/contract budgets. This position may have the ability to offer a higher salary for fully cleared candidates who meet the position's posted requirements.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
