Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Lifecycle Support Operations to lead and coordinate teams responsible for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), training, and technical documentation across multiple government programs. This individual will oversee end-to-end sustainment activities, ensuring customers receive high-quality, mission-ready support throughout the lifecycle of deployed systems and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams: one focused on Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), and another on training development and technical documentation.
- Serve as the primary operational interface for lifecycle support across multiple government contracts and programs.

- Manage a team of Cost Account Managers overseeing various program schedule and cost metrics
- Coordinate with program managers, engineers, and customer stakeholders to align support strategies with project timelines and contractual obligations.
- Ensure the delivery of effective logistics planning, provisioning, supply chain coordination, maintenance planning, and supportability analysis.
- Oversee development and delivery of technical manuals, training materials, and instructor-led/web-based training for system users and maintainers.
- Implement and monitor quality control standards for documentation and training deliverables.
- Track program metrics and drive continuous improvements in support effectiveness, cost-efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage staffing, budgeting, and resource planning for the support operations team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Education, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in logistics, technical training, and sustainment support for government or defense programs.
- Experience managing staff and tasking utilizing earned value management
- 3+ years in a management or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of ILS principles and defense acquisition lifecycle.
- Experience developing or managing technical documentation and training programs.
- Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple programs and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to obtain suitability for security clearance.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with government logistics and sustainment tools (e.g., LSAR, LMI, provisioning software). Commercially utilized solutions are acceptable as well (e.g. IBM Maximo).
- Knowledge of DoD training frameworks and learning management systems.
- Experience working with geographically dispersed or matrixed teams.
- PMP or equivalent program management certification.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
