Leidos is seeking a dynamic, mission-centric Senior Cloud Architect to support a large, mission-critical 24/7/365 hybrid multi-tenant, multi-cloud, enterprise infrastructure. The position may be asked to perform on client-site, at a Leidos site, or virtual. The Cloud Architect will serve as the lead cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME) for developing and realizing a hybrid, multi-tenant, multi-cloud computing strategy. The successful candidate will oversee architecture, design, implementation, and operations of the platform.

The successful candidate should be a collaborative, analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and technical management skills to deliver the best solutions in support of the customers' missions. The candidate must possess strong communications skills.
Primary Responsibilities
The Cloud Architect is responsible for collaborating with others, including Leidos customers, vendors, and team members to develop and maintain cloud strategies, and to lead / oversea the implementation efforts required to realize those strategies in a cost effective, agile manner including but not limited to:
- Recommendation of short- and long-term infrastructure and service improvements to meet customer objectives.
- Identification and adoption of best practices and standards.
- Architecting, designing, and implementing of continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines supporting cloud infrastructure, services, and applications.
- Architecting, designing, and implementing cloud, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud control plane, monitoring, and supporting infrastructure required to operate cloud infrastructure and services efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Subject matter expertise in at least two cloud platforms with focus on Impact Level (IL) 4/5 and 6 environments-Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Experience in the implementation and execution of DevOps and Agile practices.
- At least one advanced cloud architect certification.
- Proven track record in leadership positions driving cloud adoption, deployment, and improvement.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as industry leader in cloud architecture and strategy.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with a current DoD Secret clearance.
- Must meet requirements for DoD 8570 Compliance included holding a current CompTIA Sec+ certificate.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Formalized systems engineering methods including but not limited to performing assessment of alternatives (AoA) and business case analysis (BCA)
- Subject matter expertise in more than two cloud platforms with focus on Impact Level (IL) 4/5 and 6 environments-Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- More than one advanced cloud architect certification.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
