The Foreign Weapon Systems group at Leidos Defense has an opening for a Project Lead to work at Crane, Indiana. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to support the Information Analysis Center Multiple Award Contract (IAC MAC) Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) of Infrared/Radio Frequency (IR/RF) Systems Technologies for Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Advanced Expendable Infrared Countermeasures (AEIRCM) Program Office (PMA-272) and Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) Spectrum Warfare Systems Department (WX).

Primary Responsibilities
- The Project Lead will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a projects' execution. This entails focus to detail on specific project deliverables and first level stakeholder needs and expectations.
- The Project Lead will be responsible for ensuring project milestones are meet through ongoing communication with all stakeholders and maintaining a project based schedule.
- The Project Lead will be responsible for developing Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROM)s per project received with the assistance of team members.
- The Project Lead will be responsible for developing spend plans per project and execute burn plans for the stakeholders.
- The Project Lead will be responsible for communicating with the customer to ensure all needed gaps and requirements are identified and how those will be met.
- The Project Lead will be responsible for identifying risks and creating risk mitigation plans as needed.
- The Project Lead must be a detail oriented planner that understands how to keep a project moving forward.
- The Project Lead must be able to communicate effectively across all stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree with 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
- US Citizenship is required with eligibility to obtain and maintain secret security clearance.
- Position requires to be onsite in Crane, Indiana and must be available to work at this location.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Microsoft Project
- Knowledge of DTIC contracts
- Knowledge in Excel
- Active secret clearance

Pay Range:
Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
