Description
Leidos is seeking a proactive, forward leaning, detail-oriented leader with program management (PM) experience to execute Training Operations for Corporate Program Execution (PE) on the PM Advancement and Capabilities team which oversees PM Tools, Training and Smart Data. The Training Operations Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the internal Program Management Development Program (PMDP) working with the Sr Director on its overhaul; the tactical management of our curriculum including management of and engagement in the rollout of our forthcoming PM Pathways, the career training guide for PMs.
This role will also be responsible for engagement with and review of training content, liaising with content owners, and scheduling courses. Responsibilities also include some training development, participant engagement, feedback and attendance analytics. The position will also engage on comms, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement efforts across the program management community.

Primary Responsibilities:
PE Training Content Ownership and Development
- Overall curriculum management, training development, participant engagement, feedback and attendance tracking analytics
- Tactical rollout of all new courses, including the emerging, new career training requirement structure for PMs, called PM Pathways
- Training roadmap contribution and engagement
- Review of key course content with some development as required
- Working with our team as well as Program Directors, HR and Learning and Development functions to push required courses to the PM community and track the evolution of PM Pathways
Program Management Development Program (PMDP)
- Lead execution of the PMDP program roadmap
- End-to-end delivery of the internal PMDP, working with the Sr Director on its overhaul and redesign
- Finalize and maintain a reenvisioned PMDP Roadmap, working closely with the team; share in the execution of that roadmap
- Lead the PMDP community across the company including engaging with senior stakeholders
Training Operations
- Manage the end-to-end training curriculum, including content updates to presentations and Prism, the Leidos' intranet, while maintaining branding standards and version control
- Contribute to the management and facilitation of PM Lunch & Learns
- Collect, analyze, and integrate feedback from PE peer reviewers and program participants
- Work with the team to load training offerings into Workday and coordinate new release communications
- Work closely with teammate responsible for the PM Resource PowerApp to ensure reflection of offerings is impeccable
- Support PM Upskilling and learning development
- Engage with Sr Director on Content and planning for the Annual PM Conference.
Communications & Community Engagement
- Share responsibilities for PM training communications to ensure consistent messaging across stakeholder groups
- Support PM training survey efforts and engagement initiatives to strengthen the PM community as they are trained and as needs evolve
- Coordinate and promote knowledge-sharing and best practices across Leidos
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Program Management, Learning & Development, or related field and 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in program management as a mid-level PM
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in tools such as Teams, Workday, SharePoint, analytics, dashboards and Microsoft 365 apps
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions and engage/steer stakeholders in a complex, cross-functional environment
- Proven ability and confidence in creating modern, crisp training content
- US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in one of the above fields
- PMP or equivalent certification
- Proven experience in creating modern, crisp program management-related training content

Pay Range:
Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
