The Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure Processor Node (DIPN) team is seeking a Logistics Specialist to integrate with our team of consortium logisticians and their efforts toward analyzing and developing a comprehensive logistics support system for the sustainment of multiple DIPN member products. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to continue to grow their career and expertise in Logistics Management, Product Support Analysis, Training, Predictive Analyses such as reliability modeling, and logistics deployment.
The Logistics Specialist will participate in and support the development of supportability strategy(ies) and logistics plans addressing lifecycle sustainment as well as developing the artifacts necessary to ensure the DIPN member products can be sustained following their deployment. Tasking could vary from sprint to sprint; ranging from collection of data to analysis of data, conducting inventories of Government property and reconciling to purchase order information and Bills of Material, and, creating reports regarding the same.

The ideal candidate will have strong skills in communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multiple disciplines, domains, contractors, government agencies and other stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities.
- Evaluation of maintenance requirements and development of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance procedures.
- Researching and documenting Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) data element/attributes.
- Evaluating requirements for and overseeing candidate items are properly marked as government property and with Item Unique Identification (IUID).
- Ensuring tracking and management of warranties.
- Supporting tracking and coordination of software licenses.
- Conducting evaluations for hardware and software obsolescence and technical refresh opportunities.
- Management of Transportation of assets:
- Tracking of assets in transit
- Investigating and reporting of lost shipments
- Coordinating with the consortium team for Management of Government-owned property per FAR 52.245-1(b).
- Coordination of demilitarization and disposal of hardware and software in accordance with government policies and regulations.
- Monitoring progress through appropriate metrics and management reporting.
- Tracking and reporting status and other metrics against goals on an ongoing basis for service improvement opportunities.
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS degree and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience. Substitution of prior work experience in lieu of degree can be considered.
- Combination of strong analysis, planning, organization, and consensus-building abilities.
- Strong analytic skills, with the ability to effectively communicate results to leadership and subordinates.
- Knowledge of logistics management processes, and associated government regulations such as: FAR 52.245-1, FAR 52.245-9; DFARS 252.246-7005 - 7006; DFARS 246.710-70.
- Ability to utilize MS Office Products to writing/reviewing/approving technical program documentation.
- Able to multi-task, self-assign work, and function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- US citizenship and currently hold a DoD SECRET security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in Agile work environment with experience with Jira.
- Former Air Force experience in logistics and IT/Data related experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of the logistics management processes.
- Hands-on with, or oversight of, MIL-HDBK-502/GIEA-STD-0007 related tasks and analyses; specifically, provisioning:
- Provisioning parts List
- FLIS Screening
- Cataloging
- Experience with writing, reviewing, or approving technical documentation.
- Experience (hands-on) with tools such as PowerLog J or COMPASS.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $63,700.00 - $115,150.00
