Leidos' Defense Systems Airborne Systems Business Area is seeking a Launched Effects Portfolio Subject Matter Expert to join our Launched Effects team in Huntsville, Alabama. Occasional travel will be required for in-person engagements with external customers and partners across the US and abroad. This role will support the Division Vice President, Missile and Aviation Systems Division, Airborne Solutions Business Area, and will be an integrated member of the Launched Effects Program and Campaign team. As the Launched Effects Portfolio Subject Matter Expert, your task will be to ensure the success of our newest affordable mass launched effects capabilities. You will be the keeper of the fielding plan to include logistics requirements, operational training plans, program updates, and ultimately will be a key contributor to the successful contract execution of this much needed capability. Additionally, you will be support the overall UAS portfolio within the division to include developing the growth strategy that will ensure the success of the MASD UAS team.

Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the logistics and sustainment plan required to field long range launched effects
- Develop training scenarios and concepts of operations to ensure operational crews are proficient with long range launched effects
- Maintain and update the roadmap to qualification and fielding of all spiral capabilities
- Maintain and update the roadmap to all variants applicable to all services
- Brief Business Area, Sector and Company leadership on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
- Stay in lock step with the engineering team to stay abreast of development timeline
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors' Degree from an accredited institution with six (6) years of applicable government experience
- Experience in munitions and launched effects requirements development
- Expertise in small UAS technologies and acquisition
- Experience briefing senior leaders in military organizations
- Must have a broad knowledge of current seeker, non-kinetic and engine technologies available for integration into the launched effects portfolio
- Experience developing operational aircrew training plans
- Experience with autonomy principles and implementation
- Must have CONOP and CONEMP development experience
- Must have a current active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to maintain this during employment with Leidos
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior military experience with preference for USAF Weapons School graduates
- Broad knowledge of USAF, SOCOM, and AFSOC strategies, plans, and priorities
- Windows 365 suite of capabilities to include PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Current active TS/SCI Clearance

Pay Range:
Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
