The Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a Junior Network and Computer Systems Administrator to provide support as part of the Range Instrumentation Division (RID) Range Systems Branch of the Atlantic Test Range (ATR) in Patuxent Riber, Maryland. Members of this dynamic Range Systems Security Administration (RSSA) team manage the hardware and software infrastructure of approximately 450+ systems at ATR and its partners.

Responsibilities - Work you'll do:
- Installing, hardening, supporting and troubleshooting Linux operating systems (Red Hat, CentOS, OpenSuSE, and potentially others)
- Managing Tape/Disk Backup, and SAN Storage systems, including EMC Networker, Quantum StorNext, Dell EMC Data storage series hardware, and potentially others
- Installing server hardware, cable equipment, and retrieving and delivering workstation hardware to end users
- Managing Linux security patching, OS upgrades, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring maximum availability
- Scheduling and performing regular systems maintenance
- Attend Government requested meetings
- Prepare and submit deliverable documents in accordance with schedule with zero discrepancies
- Travel may be required for this position

Required Experience, Skills, and Education - To Land This Gig You'll Need:
- Must have a minimum of
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering from an accredited college or university and less than 2 years of experience
- Maintain industry credentials and authorized cyber security workforce status in accordance with DoD/DoN and customer Cybersecurity Policies, Directives, and governance documentation
- Must hold current industry certifications to achieve and maintain IAT Level II certification IAW DoD instruction 8570.1
- Security+
- LINUX Certification
- Excellent written communication and organizational skills
Preferred Experience - Extra Awesome If You Have:
- Network+ and/or CCNA
- Experience using SharePoint and MS Office Suite including MS Project

Pay Range:
Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00
