Leidos is hiring a customer-oriented Executive Actions and Planning Manager to support the Air Force National Capital Region (AFNCR) IT Services (ITS) program at Joint Base Andrews (JBA), MD, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, DC, and the Pentagon. The successful candidate will assist the Government staff by developing, maintaining, and improving the AFNCR ITS strategy through outreach to higher-headquarters staff.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides the commander with timely and accurate information to make decisions
  • Prepares data-driven and informational briefings and papers for the commander and other senior leaders based on guidance
  • Works directly with the commander on high-interest topics and tasks
  • Manages information exchange within the squadron to ensure all sections are tracking all mission essential functions
  • Communicates with external stakeholders to gather information on behalf of the commander and the squadron
  • Provide data analysis including extraction, transformation, loading, and running reports and queries of associating performance data and metrics against applicable performance measures.
  • In collaboration with AFDW/A6, develop strategies for to ensure Air Force National Capital Region (AFNCR) users have necessary information technology tools to meet operational requirements.
  • Support special projects aim at enhancing or improving squadron goals of improved service delivery and customer experience.
  • Collaborate across the program in support of an overarching quality management function across all teams and work centers to include managed print services.
  • Assist the Strategic Operations Manager by providing onsite support and consultation to in-need work centers to drive efficiencies to remediate performance deficiencies.
  • Assist the Strategic Operations Manager and Problem Management team identify negative service trends and aid in solution development.
  • Assist the contract UX Manager with Quality of Service (QoS) initiatives, coordinating with higher-level organizations such as the Cyberspace Capabilities Center, Air Force Lifecycle Management Center, and Chief Information Office.
  • Engage stakeholders and customers to ensure the customer-facing services are effective and user-friendly.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor's and 8 years of experience or a Master's and 6 years of experience. Additional years of experience are accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Must hold an active, full DoD Secret Clearance prior to start.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience with the US Air Force in cyber operations
  • Must have prior experience working in a commander's action group (CAG) or worked as an executive officer at the group, wing, or equivalent level
  • Must have prior experience working in the National Capital Region
  • Must have prior exposure to BMC Remedy and its Digital Workplace Catalog.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Strong organization skills and able to multi-task

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience in quality assurance and/or process improvement.
  • Familiarity with the Headquarters Air Force staff organization.
  • One or more of the following within 6 months after starting:
    • Continuous Process Improvement certification or executive course.
    • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations certification.
    • Project Management Professional certification.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
