Location: Whiteley, with flexibility to work from home dependent on business demands

The Role:

Leidos UK is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Business System Analyst to join our dynamic team of IT experts. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for infrastructure and tooling, particularly those with experience in operational support environments.

What will I be doing?

You will provide day-to-day second-line support for infrastructure services, assist the Service Desk with escalated issues, and work closely with third- and fourth-line vendor experts to resolve complex incidents and problems. This is a hands-on role with the potential to contribute to system design, change management, and process development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SaaS (Kahootz) Platform Management:
    • Manage user access and permissions, ensuring timely resolution of user requests.
    • Act as the first point of contact for platform-related queries and support.
  • Reporting and Analytics:
    • Prepare and deliver weekly programme status reports for both the customer and internal leadership teams.
    • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support operational insight and decision-making.
  • User Training and Support:
    • Deliver structured training sessions and create supporting documentation for end users.
    • Gather and act on feedback to improve platform usability and adoption.
  • Business Analysis:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for platform improvements.
    • Support ongoing evaluation of platform performance and user engagement.

Keeping an eye on the technology landscape is essential, too - identification of new and relevant technologies to solve problems and make improvements is part of the job.

What does Leidos need from me?

  • Proven experience in a business analyst or service desk role, ideally within a SaaS environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Power BI and Excel for data analysis and visualization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or service management best practices is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.

It would be ideal if you also had:

  • Experience delivering end-user training and support documentation.
  • Understanding of user access management and SaaS platform administration.
  • Ability to interpret and present data clearly to diverse audiences.

Occasional travel to other Leidos and customer sites may be required.
