Description
The Digital Modernization Sector has an opening for an Ansible DevOps Engineer to work in Woodlawn, MD.
This position will require onsite work in Woodlawn, MD five days a week.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement reliable automated architecture.
- Utilize Ansible for provisioning.
- Utilize Liquibase and DbFit for database releases.
- Utilize Linux configurations and system administration.
- Problem solve and troubleshoot when needed.
- All other duties as assigned or directed.
Required Qualifications:
These skills will help you succeed in this position:
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience OR Masters degree and 6+ years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted/accepted in lieu of degree.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust.
- Ability to effectively communicate information, both verbally and written to end users, team members and management.
- Strong Experience with provisioning using Ansible.
- Expert knowledge of Liquibase and DbFit to automate release processes.
- Strong PostgreSQL DBA experience.
- Experience with Linux commands
- Working knowledge of database query languages on Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Showcase your knowledge of modern development through the following experience or skills:
- Experience with Python and JavaScript.
- Strong background in AWS cloud and virtualization.

Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
