Description

The NISC IV program at Leidos is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our team with a range of administrative and organizational tasks. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, capable of developing high-quality presentations, and experienced in preparing accurate and concise meeting minutes. This role requires excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor to effectively collaborate with internal staff and external partners, including other FAA offices.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Draft and distribute meeting agendas and record detailed and professional meeting minutes
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, conference calls, and appointments
  • Manage communication and correspondence with internal departments and external FAA offices
  • Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and hard copy)
  • Assist with travel arrangements and expense reporting
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Skilled at working with internal stakeholders and external agencies to coordinate spectrum usage and resolve technical issues.
  • Comfortable participating in technical discussions and communicating findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least four years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong experience with developing presentations
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with high-level executives
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with FAA and other government offices and employees
  • Requires a strict professional appearance due to recurring interactions with high level Government leaders
  • Attention to detail and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance Suitability (To be eligible for Public Trust Security Clearance, one must be either a U.S. Citizen OR a U.S. Permanent Resident/Green Card holder who has resided in the U.S.A for the past 3 years.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in a government or FAA-related environment
  • Familiarity with federal administrative procedures

Pay Range:

Pay Range $63,700.00 - $115,150.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
